Consultations are a service I offer to help folks who just need another set of eyes but don't want to tip off their players; who want some help balancing an encounter; or those who just want some extra brainstorming assistance as they worldbuild.

GM consolations might sound a bit unusual, but fear not! I'm here help so you can really wow your players.
There are a lot of moving parts to being a Game Master, from making maps and encounters to worldbuilding and storywriting. Whenever a player encounters something cool in the world, it's because the Game Master put it there (or made it up on the spot, which is also a skill). That's to say nothing of player backstories and how the Party's current actions will work into the narrative tapestry of your game.
The point is this: With all those moving parts, it can be a lot to set up or coordinate alone. A GM Consultation is meant to take a little bit of that weight off your shoulders by offering an experienced voice for a second opinion. Is the convoluted plot of political intrigue too dense? Are the neighboring countries on your worldmap just names on paper without further detail or fact? Is this dungeon challenging enough or will you annihilate your players? When you hit a wall or find yourself asking a question that you can't answer alone, get some assistance from Friendly Sasquatch!
There are plenty of blogs, and books out there about improving your games that contain good, but general, advice. The consultations I offer are meant to be one-on-one and tailored to you and the vision you have of your game.

Filling and sending the form does not commit you to paying anything, and it does not guarantee a consultation. This form is to help me determine the level of assistance you require, and what kind of time investment an answer or assistance may require. Consultations should not be taken as law or official ruling on mechanical aspects of games, but as suggestions formed through experience and provided at the client's request.

Consultations do not guarantee any work or contact from Friendly Sasquatch beyond the Consultation. This service is not meant to imply that Friendly Sasquatch will do all your GM'ing for you or completely build your world for you; it is meant to be an assistive service, where it is the client's responsibility to record notes and enact discussed changes.

Consultation costs vary in length. My rate is $25.00 an hour.​
